The Baby Bunny crochet pattern is a super easy amigurumi pattern to follow with step by step written and photo illustrations. This pattern is beginner-friendly with a first-page section explaining in context how to crochet each required stitch.
WHAT CAN YOU USE THE BABY BUNNY FOR ONCE YOU”VE MADE IT:
Once you have made this baby bunny amigurumi you can use it for different things such as Newborn photo prop, Keyholder, Christmas tree decoration, Toy for a toddler, Nursery decor, Decor for dummy chain, Crib mobile decor, the possibilities are endless. Even make cute presents for the kid’s Easter basket or for easter hunt games.
HOW PATTERN IS WRITTEN;
The bunny pattern is written in rounds. Explaining in between what to do. I also mention when to start stuffing and where to make the eye placements as well as where to attach the limbs. You need to sew all the parts together but it is easy to do and I have photo illustrations showing how to do it and where to place the limbs.
This bunny is around 15cm / 5.9 inches, once completed. You can however make a bigger bunny by using a thicker yarn and a bigger hook.
MATERIALS TO MAKE IT:
You will only need about 70gm of yarn in total to make this bunny. I used double knit yarn and a 2.5mm clover hook. You’ll need at least 5 hands full of stuffing, depending on how tight you stuff your amigurumi and what textured stuffing you are using.
You only need to know your basic single crochet stitch to make this pattern. I do use a Magic circle for my toys but I do give other options in my abbreviation section if you’re not comfortable with making a ring.
WHAT SKILL LEVEL IS THIS BUNNY PATTERN: EASY
This is a very beginner stage pattern. As I mentioned in the beginning I explain each stitch method on the first page of the pattern.
